Commercial Pilot Training in Trivandrum | Kochi |Kerala
Aeronautical knowledge is one of the main components of Technical
Competence. Pilots need a strong understanding of aviation principles,
navigation, weather patterns and aircraft systems. To ensure the same, the
Directorate General of Civil Aviation requires every aspiring pilot to clear
exams in Meteorology, Navigation, Regulation, Technical General & Technical
Specific. TATS has dedicated its vast resources towards training cadets, not
only to excel in these examinations but also to prepare them for their flight
school.

This experience will give the students a step up when it comes to solo flying. It will also enhance overall training efficiency and safety.
Safety First: Safety is our priority. TATS is committed to upholding the highest safety standards and intends to make it a part of our pilots’ aptitude. FBS will allow students to learn how each procedure in aviation is tailored for the safety of themselves and others.
Flight School: Once a student clears the DGCA exams on Meteorology, Navigation & Regulation, TATS will send them to TCFT USA which runs a DGCA approved flight program for getting their Commercial Pilot License.
Psychological Orientation
Technical proficiency can only be put to use by a sound mind, so psychological orientation is essential to be successful in the aviation industry. It provides pilots with vital mental tools for navigating the challenges inherent in their careers and accelerate their ability in stress management, decision-making, adaptability and effective communication. Integrating psychological orientation into our training not only enhances personal development but also contributes to the safety and success of our students in the aviation community.

-Management Skill Development Developing decision-making skills is an ongoing journey that requires consistent practice, continuous learning and reflective introspection. While commonly perceived as inherent traits tied to an individual’s character, upbringing and personality, at TATS, we firmly believe in the trainable nature of these crucial management skills. By engaging in regular and deliberate practice, we are confident that these skills can be honed and integrated seamlessly into a cadet’s persona.
Theory suggests that when learning a language, the brain stores it as information. However, it’s through active speaking that the brain truly recognizes it as a language. Therefore, speaking is crucial to mastering it. To facilitate this mastery, we will organize group discussion sessions and public speaking exercises. These sessions aim to equip our students with the skills needed for effective communication in the English language.

Communication Skill
TCFT Flight School U.S
The DGCA mandates students to pass exams in 5 subjects and obtain an RTR license before they can take flying classes, which typically demands around 360 hours or 10 to 12 months on average to accomplish.
However, for those inclined to fly internationally, clearing exams in just 3 subjects is the requirement.
As the esteemed ground school affiliated with TCFT USA, our students benefit from a streamlined process. Upon completing 250 hours of ground class and successfully passing exams in 3 subjects, they’re prepared to go flying in the US.
RTR License Canada
DGCA requires its CPL holders to have an RTR or Radio Telephony Restricted License, while FAA in USA doesn’t demand the same. Since DGCA allows Pilots to gain the same from any of the common wealth countries TCFT will send our cadet to Principle Air limited in Canada for RTR license. Obtaining a Canadian RT becomes a seamless process, requiring just one day for the exam. Our expert guidance team will walk you through the straightforward process of acquiring RTR. Experience the convenience as your license typically arrives at your doorstep within a month.
FAA/DGCA Conversion
Once you secure your professional Federal Aviation Authority [FAA] approved Commercial Pilot license, the next crucial step is to convert your foreign license to meet Indian DGCA standards. Once you are back in India you will be send to our partners Flight Academy to fly for 10 to 12 hours for the process of converting your FAA CPL license to DGCA CPL license. Holding both the license will allow you to get employed in India and abroad.
This service is also available for any students looking to convert their foreign CPL license to DGCA.
Type-Rating
A type rating, earned after getting a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), is essential for pilots for various reasons. It delves into the specifics of an aircraft, covering its systems, procedures and handling. Regulatory bodies often require type ratings for certain aircraft, ensuring safety standards are met. In short, a type rating is crucial post-CPL, providing specialized skills for safe operation of specific aircraft type. We partner with GTA Jakarta to provide this training service in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
